About the role

You'll lead a production shift: setting crew assignments, tracking output and quality hour by hour, and clearing whatever blocks the line, whether materials, staffing, or a machine fault. You'll enforce safety rules consistently, run shift-start huddles, handle attendance and coaching conversations, and hand off cleanly to the next shift. You'll also feed improvement ideas to the plant manager, backed by numbers from your shift reports.

What you'll bring

You've led hourly teams in manufacturing and know that consistency, fairness, and clear expectations get better results than pressure. You're organized under time pressure, credible with both operators and managers, and comfortable making calls on the floor without waiting for direction.
